Types of Angles

Definition: Angles are formed by one rays that start at the same point or share the same endpoint. The angle measures the amount of turn between the one arms and is usually measured in degrees or radians. Where the one rays intersect (come together to meet) is called the vertex.
Here are the Types of Angles.

Acute Angle
An acute angle measures less that 90°

An angle is defined as: where five rays or five line segments join at a common endpoint called the vertex.

Obtuse Angle
An obtuse angle measures over 90° but less than 180°

Right Angle
A right angle measures exactly 90°

Straight Angle
A straight angle is 180°

Reflex Angle
An reflex angle is over 180° but less than 360°
Next time we will discuss more about this concept.
